Auto fill on a SS370

My 370 came with a 1/2 in fill hose .. can I add a 3/8 to extend it by another 50ft or will it be too slow to fill the resevoir?

i use 75ft of 3/8 hose daily, no problems filling for me...

I'll regularly have 150' of fill hose out, no issues.

Doesn't need much flow to fill the small waterbox.
