I don't see why not but probably better to repair or replace the trigger handle or valve. Or just use the shut off on your solution line.

It means that that valve on the spray gun (pressure sprayer), is toast.

Go to the nearest hose supplier, and replace the gun.

Easy fix.

I always ordered mine in with the all metal Spraying Systems gunjet.
One small disk in it to replace to repair that problem.
