On sat. we will have to clean a marble entry floor at a commercial building. There is finish on it. I can see finish in the grout lines. Customer just wants the floor to pop/shine. He does not want to spend alot of money. I was thinking of a scrub and recoat. But we have yellowing going on in the middle where they had runners. So we have to strip the floor. Are there many problems when stripping marble floors? Thank You, Ron

Not sure if the black stripping pad will scratch the marble. I suppose if you keep it wet you should be fine though. As far as the yellowing, it may have gotten into the stone in which it would need to be ground with diamonds. Since your guy wants it done on the cheap, he may just have to live with it.

Thanks Albert, I will drop the pad down to a green to help with that. I will also let him know about the yellowing. Ron

Keep it wet and you'll be fine.

the new coating will hide the scratches more than likely anyways.
