Here it's a toss up between Hydramaster and Cleanco. I would give Hydramaster the edge. In my immediate area we also have JEM, a private manufacturer since the late 70's. Then Aquatechs which was bought out by Cleanco I believe.

If you’re talking number of machines sold, I see more Hydramaster CDS units even out here in Butler country

I see more Hydramasters than anything else. My closest friendly competitor and I both came from HM and went to pro 1200s.

Personally the 47 cleanco has been around for years and I never here anything bad from owners, also they set the lift at 15

The only thing I don’t like about mine is the limited pressure on the heat exchangers. The gauge can say 1000 psi, but your lucky to get 800psi at tile wand!

Should be lots of flow with a cat 5 cp. I'd be really surprised if it couldn't keep up. The heat exchangers shouldn't reduce the flow that much.

Turn the heat off. It bypasses the exchangers.

Replacing that 1 inch wide 10 foot long serpentine belt 4 times a year has me.................pooping my pants.

The 6 rib 56" belt on my WM takes all of 5 minutes to change. Usually only once a year.

Has never failed on a job.

Our Cleanco belts don’t fail. They just start squeaking. It’s grows worse until it sounds like your mother-in-law.

Belt dressing will help a little but when it needs to be replaced, replace it.

Sounds like Jimmys unit is wearing out due to lack of use

Manufacturers recommend changing the belt every 6 months

Or in Ladwigs case.... every 5 machine hours
