What products would you recommend for cleaning and sealing?

One common problem is hard water deposits. This can be cleaned with Spinergy Resuscitate. I would seal with Spinergy Revive. i like color enhanced slate.

Here is some slate that had a water fall run over it for years.

That's what I was looking for.

I have some viper renew.

I thought a color enhancing sealer would be best in this situation, but wasn't sure of the best place to get it.

How do you keep the cleaner in contact with the walls?

get an Impact model 7500 2 quart pump sprayer with a foaming tip and spray from the bottom to the top

if you use something like a hydra force sprayer, cover the tip with wire mesh/screen
