I use a Whittaker machine on one van, and am shopping for what to use on the other van. I have a Cimex, but that's too heavy to carry up stairs and you can't scrub stairs with it.

I'm thinking of just going with a 360i or rx20 on the second van.

I use an Oreck Orbilal quite a bit. It's great for steps scrubbing with a brush or encapping with a pad.

I think it can't be beat for steps.(Pivots to get the front)

Also good for halls, baths or smaller traffic areas.

I also use it for encap demos and for spots that may need a touch up

The Oreck sounds like a really good multi use tool. Can or do you use it for tile/ stone and grout scrubbing or honing?

I just used he 175 yesterday, that heavy bitch will be staying at the shop, she is just for stone and Saltillo now. My cbr is the bomb. Just my 55 cents.
