cat pump problem

Does anyone know what would cause the oil to turn a light blue/greenish color? I noticed it and changed the oild but after a day or so of use its back to a weird color again.

it's probably just mixing with the residue from the old oil. Mine always comes out a little darker and funky looking at 500 hrs. I've never looked at it 2 days later but it's probably the same.

I would be more concerned if I put 10 ounces of oil in but 32 ounces comes out when I drain it. :-)
